Isomorphic Javascript is often referred to as “the holy grail of web application development” as it runs the same code on the browser client and web application server. Colony’s core back-end application is built upon a unique and highly innovative isomorphic architecture, providing numerous technical, productivity and user experience benefits.
Last year, we were contacted by authors Maxime Najim and Jason Strumpet, and asked to contribute to a new O’Reilly publication entitled Building Isomorphic Javascript Apps. The team had identified Colony as a noteworthy ‘real-world’ example for a final chapter of the book, alongside Walmart Labs, Google’s Angular 2 team, and Bloomberg’s “Brisket“.
