For the second year running, Colony has been named in the annual index of the 100 most innovative and exciting new businesses in the UK.
Delighted to announce that Colony has been included in the Startups 100 2017, the annual list of the UK’s 100 most promising new businesses by Startups.co.uk and AXA Business Insurance. The longest running index of its kind, “the prestigious Startups 100 is industry-renowned for uncovering businesses that have the highest growth potential and the most disruptive concepts, and will go on to become major brands or household names”. It boasts alumni companies including PROPERCORN, Purplebricks, LendInvest, Deliveroo, onefinestay, and many more.
Running for its eighth year, the Startups 100 index identifies the country’s most inspiring, exciting, and transformative new privately-owned UK companies launched on or after 1 January 2014 which demonstrate innovation, solid financials, economic impact and the ability to scale. Describing Colony as “so much more than your average Netflix or Amazon Prime”, the business was profiled in the 2016 list and is one of just 29 returning companies ranked among the 2017 cohort. I was also pleased to be included as one of 29 women among the 189 founders of the top 100 startups.
